Tony Davis is Award-Winner at Open Frame Film Festival

Malone University recently held its 12th Annual Open Frame Student Film Festival at the historic Palace Theatre in Canton, Ohio. The one-day-only event premiered films that were written, directed, scored, acted, and produced by students.

Throughout its history, Malone students have produced comedies, dramas, westerns, animated pieces, documentaries, music videos, and art films, many of which have been accepted in – and even awarded at – subsequent film festivals.

Tony Davis, a senior sport management major from Hudson, Ohio (44236) was awarded Best Sound Design and Best Film for the film Windmill.

Malone University (Canton, Ohio), a Christian university for the arts, sciences, and professions in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church, awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 100 academic programs.
