Teresa Young initiated into national honor society at Malone University

Malone University in Canton, Ohio, recently initiated the following local student into the Rho Tau chapter of Kappa Delta Pi for the 2012 fall semester.

Teresa Young, a senior intervention specialist major from New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.

Founded in 1911 at the University of Illinois, Kappa Delta Pi is the oldest and largest international education honor society in the United States. Membership is open to students who have earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, show potential or have achieved education leadership, and exemplify worthy educational ideas. The Society inducts only those individuals who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.
