Stephanie King presented research at Malone University's (Canton, OH) symposium

2014 Jun 3

Malone University (Canton, OH) held its sixth annual Student Research Symposium this past spring semester.

Local student(s) presenting original research included Stephanie King, who at the time was a Senior Psychology major from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (44221). King's project was titled Now You See It, Now You Don't: Meditation of Parental Satisfaction between Stress and Empathy, under the guidance of faculty mentor Ebenezer A. de Oliveira.

The Student Research Symposium showcases the creative and academic work of Malone University students. Unlike a typical class paper or project, authentic research crosses the boundaries of what is known to create new knowledge. Students work closely with faculty members who provide direction and support. Nearly 70 exciting projects from a wide variety of academic disciplines and topics were part of this celebration of student achievement. The primary mode of presentation was the academic poster. Student researchers were on hand to answer questions.
